Some of my artwork is available for sale on a web site named RedBubble.com. It is a business that provides a marketplace for artists. It is similar to the ETSY website concept, except RedBubble™ does much more than just to sell fine art. The neat thing about RedBubble ™ is that they offer many choices and prices. Pick a piece of my artwork and RedBubble ™ will show you how the image would look on a wide range of objects and sizes. You can see how it would look as a traditional print on canvas, or metal, or poster. But you can also see how it would look on a coffee mug, a bedspread, a shower curtain, a cell phone case, and many other items.
RedBubble ™ will sell you the product of your choice at an agreed-to price. RedBubble ™ then have one of its vendors make the product, with my artwork on it. The product will then be mailed to you from the vendor.. Neither I nor RedBubble ™ handle the product. It comes directly to you from the manufacturer.
That has great advantages for me, because I don't have to make or ship the product. I get an agreed-to percentage, for the use of my artwork.
The advantages for you, the buyer, are many. You get many options about how you want the artwork to be presented, ranging from stickers, to clothing, to framed fine-art. You can choose product costing a few dollars or larger more expensive items, such as sub-dye prints on metal. You also get the guarantee that the product is being produced by experts who specialize in making the product that you ordered. Check it out and let me know if there is a particular piece of artwork that you want me to upload to my RedBubble ™ account. Click on the red circle below, and visit my shop on RedBubble.com
Reworked Cutout Piece
'The Mosers'
I have spent years working on this piece. It sparted as a cutout done in oil paint. I wasn't satisfied. Next I repainted it using fast drying oil paint. After the paint was fully dried, I drew on top of the painted surface using colored pencils.
