The "construction" or "construct" pieces combine "outline" or "cutout" portraits with scenery constructed from mixed media. In some cases the final figure is constructed using a nomber of cutout pieces.
There is no background.
These outline portraits are painted in oil on plywood that has been reinforced with metal to control warping.
"Construction" or "construct" pieces are 3-dimensional and may be mixed media.
